2005-06 Patriot Marching Band

The Homewood Patriot Marching Band was founded in 1972. It was taken over by Pat Morrow in 1977, who continued to direct the band until the spring 1996. Ron Pence became director in the fall of 1996 and continues to lead the current band. The band is known worldwide for its excellence. This excellence starts everyday in the band room and on the practice field. Three stars hang over the podium in the band room. These stars say Pride, Perfection, and Professionalism. These three things are what every band student tries to be. Pride, Perfection, and Professionalism and are what let us achieve what we have in our thirty six years as one of the best bands in the country and the world. Homewood Patriot Marching Band has competed and performed in many events and competitions throughout the world. They have been featured in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York, New York, The St. Patrick's Day Parade in Limerick and Dublin, Ireland, the Lord Mayor's Parade in London, England, the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California, and the Fiesta Bowl Parade in Arizona. The Homewood Patriot Marching Band is continuing excellence and perfection both on and off the competition field.
